Ever since I was born, I have spent all of my  summers and vacations at my other house in Pennsylvania. It is a private community in the Poconos known as Wallenpaupack Lake Estates. For all my life, that was all I knew. I could never relate to my peers when they would complain about getting bored in the summer, because to this day, Pennsylvania is still my happy place. I feel like the community is a safe haven for me, and when I'm there I am surrounded by my  best friends in the world, and my family. Being there allows me to appreciate nature that much more. Being by the lake allows me to escape my daily life and the stress that comes with  it. I'm so grateful my grandparents bought the house in the community when my mom was little, and that she brought me and my siblings there, too.
